I love this contraption! Even just version 1 is incredible. Amazing, job well done so far!
Me and several of the people on my server use these a lot on gm_bigcity. We weld chairs to them, change the materials a bit, sometimes even alter the GoAngle or tweek other various things slightly.
I just wanted to thank you for making it. I hope if you release a future version, it will work as well with a chair on it!![]()

Quick status update.
Missile system is done.
They are target leading homing missiles that only use a prop spawner and an E2 chip and are quite deadly. I will release the code for them soon. I have a request if someone that is really good with E2 can take a look at my code and optomise it for me, I would be very greatful.
Turret system is done pretty much done.
They automatically attempt to fire at any incoming RPG and grenades. While they are really good at pushing any grenades near it away, they are highly ineffective at shooting down RPGs.Can anyone with experience shooting down RPGs help with that too? The turrets also have target leading when not in mouse aim mode.
Improved handling.
The drone is a little fast and stronger since I changed the interval from 50 to 20. It's anti flip mode is also quicker (it flips back over if it gets flipped upside down)
Future plans:
Change from applyAngForce to applyTorque on thrusters.
Add manual flight mode
Add advanced hud for the owner
Make it run away from combine energy balls :|
Make anti-RPG work better (help please)

Shooting down RPG's is notoriously difficult, since they are such small targets. The best solution I have found is to use a shotgun-style turret. Set it to fire 10 shots at once, but with a deviation somewhere between .05 -.15.
However, this will preclude the turret's use as an offensive turret. If you could somehow have two dedicated turrets (one for offense, one for defense) I think you would be ok.
