Tell me what you guys think of my steering system. I know the cars are nothing special but the steering makes them fun to drive.

you should post the whole thing here instead of linking us to face punch.

it looks like it is very functional however you could simplify the wiring down to a single x chip and i don't see why you couldn't use accumulators and latches to give you more steering functions then going all the way right or all the way left.

as shandolum would say <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Shandolum)</div>

look forward to seeing how you improve this contraption.

Actually the originaly version used acumulators, however the control just sucked so I put it to full on or full off. Instead of acumulators I might add a say mouse 1 so that there is half and full one. That would give you more controll and none of the lag that is caused from using an acumulator.

I would just like to say thank you. I really hate the people on facepunch, most of them don&#39;t know how to use the wiremod at all or do any kind of contrapton so they just sit on the forums and complain about how bad everybody does. So thanks for giving me good feedback.

Woops used to facepunch adding a fast reply to edit instead of a double post.

you could make it so it steers according to the mouse. it would require some work but i think it would defiantly be worth it.

    suspension! brakes!
too small my friend and too easy

use thrusters to keep it normal to the walls so it can ascend into the heavens. then use trickys paper plane thing so after you ascend you can glide down safely. and add stability gyroscopes and thrusters

and we would hate it if a nuke went off so it needs nuke proving

    and anti nocliping

    and an auto turret

    and a laser

    and a headcrab cage

sorry i just think its funny how many more things could be done with this. just remember, a ship is safest in harbor, but thats not what ships are for.

don&#39;t be afraid to mess up.

Why not make the stearing using a smoother. It is better than an accumulator (I think).
And keep improving upon it and take the advises from people. Decide what you think is best and build the best f***ing car there is.
