I've made a variety of Expression2 targeting systems, and I wanted to take another step in that direction.
I had the idea of using Adv Hud Indicators to signify E2 find results, but the only problem is the amount of clutter it would detect. I've never really looked into the array functions, but I think now would be the time to do so.
My Idea centers around the functions findInSphere, getConstraints, and any array functions needed to retrieve the data I need. The chip would detect an entity and get the constraints of that entity. After getting the constraints, it would ignore any props constrained to it until the entity is removed, at which point the expression would wipe the ignore list and detect the entities in that contraption again.
If you can enlighten me with the knowledge of arrays, I can develop the rest of the targeting system - and if you would like, give you a copy.
Thanks for reading
Make something up, it's what make E2 programming fun. <for me> It also test debugging skills when it fails miserably. But ging to the wiki is the best thing!
