The eye don't give a position, it's like you apply your angle on the gun. They would aim perfectly if it had the same position as your viewpoint.
I solved this by using a cam showing from the guns view. but then I'd have trouble driving, so that was the co-pilots job.

although sometimes its not as accurate and isn't it possible to use something similar to rangerFilter() to exclude the props you don't want from aimpos()?
recently I tried mounting the turret to the base prop using ballsocket center and it improved somewhat. Does anyone know what differences you get using applyTorque as apposed to applyAngForce?
