This sounds cool, I will try it out.![]()
I finally got around to do it and figured out how not to mess up other scripts in the process
r1876: [E2] Added an @model directive, that allows you to set the chip model. The selected model might take a while to get to the server though. @model overrides the model selected in the E2 tool's control panel, but reverts back to normal once you load a script without @model.

its mostly furrys so if u are one then come down, but if u arent then please come too, it sucks being the only non furry in a almost completely furry server.
well the problem will most likely be that a model can not be changed with out some major changes, Tommy look at the model manipulator code it works.

the code has to validate on the client at least once
so either you load it, press ctrl-space or reopen the editor
... or spawn a chip
I'll make the editor validate your code when you close the editor. that should help.
no, it doesn't. the physics are fugly

so could it not just be done with a function on the e2core that re-spawns the e2

that'd be a particularly complicated solution.
I think the current way is fine, especially now that I made it validate when closing the editor:
r1877: [E2] Editor: Code is now also validated when closing the editor. This should improve the responsivity of the @model directive.

and that will make e2 better as a whole, sweet. so the model thing is something that is going to make bots so much easyer

Oh cool.
I've had a couple expressions I needed this functionality on before, and I just made it check it's own model, if incorrect, use a concmd to set it, remove, and print a "Please Respawn"
This is much cleaner, thanks.
