What is the Black List, and what is the White List?

I think that the things that are in the black list, will get ignored. Probably the exact opposite for the whitelist.

Think of McCarthy and how everyone who was called a communist by him was put on a black list; therefor could not find a job and had their life ruined. That's how I think of it.
