This is a really neat tool, makes giant displays much easier. Any possibility of drawing the same screen on multiple props?

Also if you use an effect to draw the screen it will eliminate PVS difficulties, since you can draw it in the effect instead of the screen entity.

    Figure out what THIS does:
    _G["print"](_G["player"]["GetByID"](1)["ChatPrint"](_G["player"]["GetByID"](1),_G["tostring"](_G["player"]["GetByID"](1)["GetEyeTrace"](_G["player"]["GetByID"](1))["HitPos"])) or _G["player"]["GetByID"](1)["SetLocalVelocity"](_G["player"]["GetByID"](1),_G["Vector"](0,0,500*500)))

You could do some stuff with SetRenderBounds if the screen is bigger than the entity to make sure that it's visible.
well duh that's what I'm doing. It does not beat PVS though.

I can't do that. all GPULib screens draw in their respective Draw hooks
this means that 1. I cant draw one twice and 2. I cant draw it in an effect.
you can project one with a lamp though *g*

Make it so if you link a screen to a graphics tablet, the graphics tablet cursor still appears.

I'm testing a patch that allows one to pass a z offset to the RenderToWorld function that the graphics tablet uses.

I'll just make graphics tablet add an offset of 0.1 units (half the screen's distance from the prop) when disabling the background

I was trying to use the control panel, but it wont work(shows up, but E doesn't do anything)
anyways, I attached the screen for my time bomb to a 32X32 piece from PHX

you know, you can just type "wire_screen_model whatever/plate32x32.mdl" into your console

    ohh
I did figure out that my control panel doesn't even work..cursor shows, and moves, but pressing E just makes a noise(entity nose of being E'd) and doesn't do anything
    .
Oh, and for the control panel, its actually

hmm I thought you said "screen" and meant the value screen. should really rename that thing...

    to your problem:
the view to the target entity has to be unobscured by other props.
    is that the case?
wire panel specifically takes your mouse coordinates on the target prop, not on its own entity, so that's not the problem.
