Apply forcing a physical light is far more limitted than a function because you can reposition a function by simply stating where it should be, whereas a physical light needs to worry about being trapped under a dumpster for example.

also, using physics instead of simply setting the position will make the movement non-instantaneous, giving you at least a few ms of free sight.

r1935: [Light] Added a wire_light_block cvar. Setting it to 1 will block all glow components of wire lights. This setting will not persist between sessions.

I can't seem to get any anti-glow darkness, though the effect would be amazing. How were you doing that?
