Well, you don't put the laser, you let the cd spin ;D
SO basically the cd spins all the time, and the laser moves the spot all the time.

To write a value put a something on the Value input and activate the Write beam.

How you do it with Hi-Speed, you have to figure out on your own, but I think you should look at the Buffer Ready...

What? Is the cd supposed to spin?

I'm not retarded, even though it may look a lot like it :stuart:

But the laser has to move to hit the right track, so how do you know the length of the hydraulic, etc. Do you just try and fail?

I have been using a expression to accumulate the length base off what track it is on now.

If I could now figure out how to read and write to one address as it spins. Also need to figure out how to get to address one lol.

Density is width of track in inches, and it's also length of track in inches (aka source units)

    Me

It's on the previous page, BP. Is that how it looks like if you use a square CD?

Thanks BP! Could you explain how to write to one address only? When I try to write one one it writes to a few addresses.

You'll just have to be quick to disable the write ray again, I suppose.

Now, anybody want to make a colorcoded texture for the 360 circle phx with the stock settings?

It will still detect it as a round CD, and it won't allow you to write on edges...
