I released the version 1 of the HK-Drone (as seen in the video)

I went through the Expression and commented on most of the stuff to help people learn from my code.

You can either link it to a pod, or you can press and hold E on the adv. pod controller for 2 seconds to link up your adv. pod controller remote control. Whip out the remote control and press E to activate it.

Controls:
Shift=up
Space=down
W=go forward
A=turn left
S=go backward
D=turn right

They have the afterburner-type thruster model as small as maybe 15-20 units in diameter...

Ok, unfortunately, due to school and tests this week, I won't be able to get on gmod until thursday or friday. This Saturday I am leaving for my 21st B-day down to Cancun for fall break, so im not going to be on much for the next week. I have not had a chance to get the file from the server to post it on here yet, hopefully by Friday I will have it up.

Yeah, but I just realized that the code I wrote for making the thruster change its angle for forward movment is not capable of taking different forward thrust. It just takes different angle that you want the thruster to go to when moving forward. I will rewrite that part so that it will chang its angle depending on desired forward thrust, not change forward thrust depeding on the angle desired angle. Makes more sense now that I think about it.

the only problem is that when you want to get going really fast, the thruster is almost horizontal and the lightest jerk can cause it to go past the horizontal and flip upside down and it will spiral out of control.

I talked a little with jayg20769 and it sounds like he has a better code for the thruster angle forces, we will probably team up and see if we can get some better stability out of it and a greater capacity for speed as a result.

Aww, shame you couldn't come on tonight, I just spent 2 hours converting my version into a hunter-tracker and I'm really pleased with the results.

Anyway, I would love to show it to you when you get back

Actually I finally got some free time, my class for today got cancelled so I have pretty much all day to mess around with Gmod. Oh, yeah, I do need to pack for Cancun too. I'm gonna go upload it in a few mins.
