    Default Wirelink & Data plug

I know that there has been another bug thread about the same subject, but I just wanted to bring this to your attention again...
The use of Wirelink's writecell/readcell does not work with the data plug.
This prevents me from starting on my Expression2 game-console which needs data plugs for monitor, controller and the game of course.
I also have many other things this prevents me from doing but 1 is enough in this post.

    Please fix this.

Confirmed, date plugs don't like wirelinks

What do these data plugs do and why do you need them.

I read a thread that said the data plug was a high speed data transfer used with cpu. Like the plug and socket. I didn't know it was supposed to work with exp2

    Pretty much, yea.
If I'm correct then it's like having a data port
I would need this for my game-console to connect monitor, controller and game without having to make a single wire.

It is possible that it uses some other method of transferring values then, because E2 simply calls readCell and writeCell, there isn't much more wirelinks can do.

What you can try is to connect something arbitrary to the dataplug, where you connect the wirelink. It might for some reason enforce that something is connected to it. Other than that there isn't much I can do as far as I know.
