Then maybe the Bug Reports section would be more appropriate?
I don't really see how hydraulics could not work, but then I'm fairly new at all this.
There's another thread on this, but I'm very reluctant to necrobump it.
I am working on a Fin plane. On this fin plane, I am trying to set up control surfaces (flaps, rudder, elevator, etc). I am currently using hydraulics, but they are simply not strong enough. I attempted to rebuild the plane using servos. Servos, however, are completely useless to me right now. Horizontal placement (For the rudder) works fine, but vertical placement (elevators, flaps) results in horrendous spazzing, with both Simple Servos and just plain old Servos. In addition, the rudder begins spazzing whenever the plane tilts or banks at the slightest degree possible.
It seems to me that the servos will only rotate around the world Z-axis. I humbly request that it be fixed so that the servo may be placed anywhere and operate correctly. Since Servos appear to only be in the unofficial wire SVN, I decided not to file a bug report for the official wiremod package in regards to this.

When I said that I meant that it's not the Wire Team obligation to fix it, and the comment was aimed at Lyingbedmon...
I wish I knew what the problem was, I'd fix it if I did.

Bump. I too am having the problem, trying to create a VTOL aircraft using the servos, getting same problem that the servos freak out with slightest change and only seem to respond to world-z. Also if i put 2 servos on a prop, regardless of weight/size of the prop the servos instantly freak out. If there is perhaps a fix for this that i have yet to encounter i would love to be shown the way as i have not found it yet.
I need to remove the servos to be absolutely honest. At least the old and not working ones.
