Advanced Duplicator is known to seriously weaken joints and etc.
Nobody has figured out why yet, or else we'd see a fix.
Anytime I make somthing with with hydraulics and adv dupe its always broken its either the hydraulics or the no collide. When I adv dupe somthing with wheels they have no strength in them the prop always falls to the ground past the wheels, and when i lift the prop the wheels are all wobley.

Thats not necessarily true, there have been known old bugs and they don't get fixed although its relatively simple, it takes a while for people to get around to them.
any tips to help get around it? its not even really worth duping a turret because the props just fall through other props throwing off the hydraulics
I have heard setting it on freeze all props on paste helps. But, I know there is no work around if you are changing the weight of things as the adv dupe doesn't save weight.
I've heard someone say that attaching ropes to the proplem props before adv duping and removing them after spawning fixes this for some reason.
Try the rope hack and report back if that fixes this issue
It seems to work, but it doesn't strengthen it back to 100%
I found out another bug while testing this though, Rope contraints Duped by The Adv Duper, can NOT be cleaned up by using the Cleanup "Rope Based Constraints" option.
Anyway, I took a screenshot of the results. The one on the left is the original, the one on the right was duped with ropes (I removed them after spawning)

Picking it up off the ground and freezing it has worked fine for me. The adv. duplicator spawns the props and then welds them when you paste, so if you duplicate it while it's sagging it will paste the props and weld them together with the sag which will sag even more when you unfreeze it.
