Advanced Input Stopped Work 560

Hi!

Something stranged has happend to my advanced input tool.

For some strange reason my adv. input stopped working pronto.
Didnt install any mods or anything. Last thing I did in between before i used it last time (when it worked) was playing with source recording command in console and fraps. And changed one duplicated expression, that I had made, through notepad.

Maybe that can help ya.

But now its all wierd.

Now its stuck at value 1. And everytime i start gmod it makes the "change speed value" blank. Always.

I tried all. Positive values. Negative values. Clear all boxes for hidden values etc.

deletet my wire dir and svned a new one. Didnt work. Same problem.


I have no idea what made it that. Maybe Rev 560. Please Help.

I can confirm that it is not working at all, and I also would really love to see this fixed. I use the advanced input Nearly every time I build anything with wire, it's great for testing hydraulics and adjusting tolerances for things like flying contraptions on-the-go.

Hello, thats easy to fix.
You only have to copy that file to: garrysmod\addons\wire\lua\weapons\gmod_tool\stools \wire_adv_input.lua
Then it should work. Have fun with that ^_^

Hi thanks for the file!

But is that from n older version ? I mean.
It doesnt tell me why the adv. input broke. Everyone that will svn wire will break their adv. input still huh ?

Yes i found an old version from Wiremod. But i don't know which version it was i'm sorry.
I don't know why the file was removed, and i don't mind of that as long as it works :lol:

But still, someone has to find out the reason cause more ppl will be or are already affected. :mellow:
