Since reporting the last bug (http://www.wiremod.com/showthread.php?t=1607) I think I should also report this one (happens with everyone on my server).

The bug is on the advanced duplicator wherby when you spawn something that is frozen (the ones i've tested are also welded to the world, I havent really tried different combos), everything you stand on bounces your screen up and down rapidly (even though the prop is frozen). The only fix is to unfreeze and then freeze again (for every prop ) or - oddly - minimize and maximize the game.

Also, when spawning the outline of buttons/chips etc and also the bubble that pops up on mouseover of components is missing (again, minmize then maximize is the fix).

Rejoining the server is also a fix.

The props also sometimes fail to react to the physgun beam (as if the prop isn't even there). Same fixes apply.

I think I finally have that fixed now, will be in next update.

Yet another funny thing with SetNotSolid, DisableMotion, Sleep, Wake, and parenting (which I ended up using again to fix it ) all being done.

I'm having the exact same problem. Rejoining the server hasn't fixed it for me... I will see if minimizing has any effect. I've tried different Freezing STOOLs that i've found, so i can unfreeze my contraption and refreeze it. There's only one STOOL that will freeze an entire contraption. TAD2020's Freeze-o-Matic 1.4 except... oh wait. It doesn't work online.

Unless my server has a conflicting addon, the freeze o matic simply does nothing upon clicking it and spits out no errors. You gotta love it when the temorary solution to the problem doesn't work either, and it's made by the same person who works on whatever was causing the problem in the 1st place

That's a pretty funny way of saying; by the same person who actually makes it possible to save contraptions in the 1st place?

Of course I'm greatful for the Advanced Duplicator, Garrysmod wouldn't be the same without it. But I just get fed up with problems that could of had solutions but the solutions don't work either.

I mean, maybe more care should be taken to update the Adv. Duplicator. One revision spawns things without welds, another one it's fixed. One revision spawns parts of SENTS rotated the wrong way. Another one fixes it. Then a little while later, another revision repeats the problems that were already fixed. It gets old sometimes.

You have to remember the SVN is for developers, so that we can work on the same project at the same time, make sure that our work doesn't get lost and that we can get instant feedback on it, it is never safe to assume that whatever is on the SVN works. Although the wiremod SVN tends to stay stable because most of the changes are small, you cannot count on it.

Although I do admit there has been a lack of actual releases, but that is the nature of the SVN, especially with a massive project like the advanced duplicator, it is alot of work combined with crappy documentation and undocumented features and quirks. And it seems he has made some pretty substantial improvements latetly, and as far as I know he is doing it all by himself.

So... My option is to use SVN or the Adv. Dupe v1.61. It's 116 days old! The Advanced Duplicator thread on Facepunch doesn't even have a download link other than the v1.62, and wire v1 RC2 doesn't even include the Advanced Duplicator! I have no choice but to use SVN. The only release of it i can find would probobly not load hardly anything because it's s out of date.

I'm just saying I wish more care was taken to preserver features of the Adv. Dupe since official releases are hardly ever made. You guys seem to love adding tiny features to wire all over the place and breaking other, more important aspects on a daily basis.

OMG. I agree so much that I had to say something. >_> Why does Garry think that looking at his code is an effective replacement for actual documentation? And with the wiki in the state that it is... blah. *gripe gripe*
I want to change the world, but they won't give me the source code.
