hmm, i had the same problem, with a GMod that came in a package deal with TF2. I downloaded wiremod from a non-svn third party site not even knowing what it was, and my addons folder had a really gay glitch and i had to distribute the files manually.
I fixed it by cleaning up the distributed wiremod files after fixing my addons folder and getting the actual wiremod svn.
